Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to read about our pop-up gallery in rural Gloucestershire! We'd love you to visit soon or if you'd like to exhibit, please contact us as we're taking bookings for 2014.

At every exhibition we serve teas & home made cakes in our 1970s caravan using retro china to take you back to the 1950s, 60s and 70s!

We serve our tea in tea pots so you can linger a while....

A beautiful view over the River Severn and Coaley Peak, gorgeous cakes & art-
what more could you ask for?

Urgent! Viewers needed for next exhibition! 7-8 September

Our next exhibition will be Elaine Fisher's "conversations" work based on a recent trip to Pembrokeshire. Well worth seeing, Elaine is about to start a Masters in Fine Art, and has a history of working with museum exhibits, so we are sure her work will be exciting and challenging.

We need lots of people to come to the next exhibitions- we're busy raising money for SHAPE Africa, to help improve lives of children there- fighting disease such as malaria, improving education and health care and life chances. SHAPE Africa is  a small NGO run by medical professionals so they really know what they're doing and no money is wasted in admin etc- everyone gives of their time for free.

There will be the usual piles of yummy cakes, biscuits and teas, hots chocolate etc to drink, art for sale - so please support this brilliant cause and a fantastic new artist!

jones bros exhibition

Despite the wind, the grey skies and then the rain... oh yes it rained..... we had a lovely time this afternoon meeting old and new friends at The Gallery at the End of the Lane- we sold some of the jones bros art, as well as some of Zoe Heath's delightful cards, we talked about piano lessons and studying art, we hopefully have booked our first exhibition for 2014, so all in all, a great time!

Raised about £14 for bednets for Sierra Leone, but we are expecting lots more people to turn up tomorrow- so bring that dosh, chill out and eat yummy chocolate cake, or perhaps a scrumptious gluten free apple, raisin and hazelnut cake (it is to die for!) enjoy your tea from a proper teapot, and purchase some art.

As well as the jones bros art, and Zoe Heath's lovely cards, Catherine Jones is having a clear out of her previous art work so you have a chance to snap up an absolute bargain- all sales from Catherine's works to go to SL bednets (10% of Zoe's and jones bros)

Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow! It's meant to be sunny......

Installation day at Jenner Museum

We had a fantastic morning getting Paul's "visions of the city" exhibition together, with the help of Rod, who is the expert on putting pictures on temperamental plaster- so a big thanks to him for making it happen!

Paul's 2 and 3 D work looks simply stunning- you must go and see it "for real" as the first impression you get as you look through the windows or door, draw you in to the colour, line and texture of a frenetic view of urban life.

I even went and purchased a piece, as I couldn't resist... it's already installed at home and looks amazing next to a cabinet of old dinky toys etc and the angelpoise lamp below sets it off perfectly.

So here are some photos of the installation process- our helpers today were Mia, Nicholas and Michael, who also had fun discovering one of the Bristol Gromits, living round the back of the exhibition space!

Paul with his fantastic large mixed media piece- the "highlight" of the show- all yours for less than £500! Or perhaps you'd like to commission your own sculpture... how about one based on your home, or where you live?

3 assistants having some time out with Gromit!

This selection of Paul's work is emminently affordable- prices starting from £50 for a 3D work, £25 for 2D- but imagine if you had the space for all of these? They would look stunning in a contemporary home.....

Sorry, this one has already gone! I couldn't let anyone else have it....

The view in through the window- it calls you to investigate more thoroughly- Paul's work really needs a close look at the all the incredible detail and skill using quite ordinary materials- biros, marker pens, PVA glue, foamboard etc- to create a vision of urban life.

See how well the work fits into a "normal" home- I think the dinky cars and anglepoise lamp set it off perfectly!
