Welcome!

Thank you for taking the time to read about our pop-up gallery in rural Gloucestershire! We'd love you to visit soon or if you'd like to exhibit, please contact us as we're taking bookings for 2014.

At every exhibition we serve teas & home made cakes in our 1970s caravan using retro china to take you back to the 1950s, 60s and 70s!

We serve our tea in tea pots so you can linger a while....

A beautiful view over the River Severn and Coaley Peak, gorgeous cakes & art-
what more could you ask for?

Exhibitions over next few months

We are delighted that a number of exhibitions will take place over the next few months- more information on each will be coming soon!

17-18 August Nicholas & Michael Jones

7-8 September Elaine Fisher
Abroad

Letters of kindness and taking care are hidden in found objects, representing the small and intimate gestures between friends Abroad.
The expression, ‘Abroad’, taken from Erica Van Horn’s Some more words for living locally, 2011, describes a sense of being out and about, away from home but not overseas.  In its insignificance, Abroad can be an overlooked and vulnerable place, but the kindness of friends ensures familiarity and a home away from home.

"When I use the word Abroad, I am thinking of far away places.  I am thinking of a place usually overseas.  I am thinking of a foreign place.  Here the expression is used freely to describe someone being out and about.  A farmer might be Abroad in the field.  Or someone might be Abroad in the yard.  They might just be Abroad, which suggests that they are somewhere other than at home, but definitely not overseas" Erica Van Horn, Some more words for living locally, 2011

Elaine's work is thought provoking, intelligent and subtle. Her work will look amazing in the gallery so don't miss this very exciting exhibition!

14 September Dani Jones
storytelling

The gallery, with its enclosed. cosy space, will make a fantastic place to be taken to a different world by Dani Jones, an artist and wordsmith of delicacy and persuasion.

5-6 October Pam Bowden
